Holly Cerasano is an Associate at the firm with a business law practice that focuses on the health care industry and corporate clients. Her health care clients receive counsel on a variety of transactions and regulatory and compliance matters related to ongoing operations , as well as advice on general business law topics. She also advises other corporate clients in similar matters.
Holly entered private law practice with a large Richmond-based global law firm where her clients were concentrated in the health care field. Her experience includes matters pertaining to regulatory and governance matters and corporate transactions for a wide range of health care providers.
Holly graduated summa cum laude from the University of Richmond with a BA in Political Science. She earned her JD from Georgetown University Law Center where she was Senior Staff Editor and a member of the Note Selection Committee for the Georgetown Journal on Poverty Law & Policy. She served as President of the campus’s Women’s Legal Alliance and was a Faculty Research Assistant for Professor Timothy Westmoreland.
While in law school, Holly worked as a Law Clerk for the Federal Trade Commission, Bureau of Consumer Protection, and as a Law Clerk for Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), Ranking Member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor & Pensions – Minority Health Office.
After earning her law degree, Holly served as a Post Graduate Fellow in the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia – Consumer Protection Section.
Holly enjoys the outdoors, hiking and backpacking, and playing tennis.
